There is a $10 suggested but optional donation for class. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Wear comfortable clothes. We provide mats, but of-course feel free to bring your own.

What is Y12SR, Yoga of 12-Step Recovery?
- An addiction relapse prevention program
- Y12SR is a practice that combines the wisdom of yoga and the practical tools of the 12-Step recovery programs.
- Guided by its theme, “The Issues Live in the Tissues,” Y12SR classes are offered throughout the U.S. and abroad and is quickly becoming a feature of addiction recovery treatment centers.
- Y12SR is a discussion and a yoga practice. The time is divided between a 12-Step like sharing circle and a yoga asana (movement), pranayama (breath work), and meditation session where we “take it to the mats.” The yoga practice offered is designed to be accessible to all bodies and levels of yoga experience.
- Y12SR is open to all persons who suffer from addiction as well as those who love them. All A's are welcome. You are not required to be in a fellowship program to attend.

What allows me to lead this class?
I am a Yoga Alliance RYT200 & certified Y12SR Leader of Hoboken, NJ.
What if I am not in a AA fellowship or unsure if I am self-destructive?
Come explore and find out if this is a good fit for you. You are not required to be in a fellowship to attend.
Do I have to share?
Of-course not. You are welcome to just listen. You always have a choice and do not have to share.
Where does your donation go?
Funds are split between Y12SR Leader and the Y12SR Foundation & The Urban Outreach Program, who bring Y12SR to areas that do not have the funds.
