Noble Steps Information Sheet

Please be sure to register for the Noble Steps Group Daylong Retreat by sending an email with your name, phone and email to thenoblesteps@gmail.com. We prefer you register in advance, however our doors are always open and all are welcome the day of the retreat  

Please bring the $25 retreat fee with you the day of the retreat. We never want the cost of the retreat to keep anyone away so please email us at thenoblesteps@gmail.com to discuss scholarship availability.

9:00       Introductions, Opening Rituals  

9:45       Sitting Meditation (instructions provided)  

10:15     Walking Meditation (instructions provided)

 10:45    Mindful Movement (Y12SR) - led by Dania Morgan  

11:45     Break  

12:00     BYO lunch. Mindful eating  

12:45     Walking meditation  

1:15       Sitting meditation  

2:00       Mindful movement (QIgong  

2:45       Singing bowl/Big Mind Meditation  

3:15       Dharma/Recovery Talk/Sharing/ Closing Ritual  

4:30       Tea and Fellowship  

5:00       Retreat Ends  


What to Bring/Preparation:  

Meditation Pillow/Bench: We will be bringing some meditation cushions from Shakti Yoga for attendee use, but bring your own meditation pillow or kneeling bench if you have one. There are plenty of chairs to sit on if you prefer chairs for meditating.  


Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. There is a kitchen, refrigerator and microwave at the center. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.  


Comfortable Clothes: Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes for sitting and mindful movement.  You may want to wear easy slip on/off footwear.  


Blanket or Shawl: Bring something to stay warm when sitting.
